Brief Description

The purpose of this position is to supervise office staff, maintain office records, complete clerical tasks, maintain office supplies and inventories, process budget, maintain budget records, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, hire, train, and orientation of new employees, process payroll and employee records, ensure all clients and customers are satisfied with the admission process, employee schedules, cash control procedures and audits.

Manages the water park by maintaining accounts payable and receivable, preparing deposits and managing cash receipts, reviewing all accounting areas and implementing identified changes, assisting with the annual audit, preparing all regulatory reports and overseeing payroll preparation.

Formal Education

Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Over two years up to and including three years

A first line supervisor typically performs these functions.

Budget Responsibility

Oversees budget preparation of a division budget. Has responsibility for approval of final documents sent to the Department Head. Reviews and approves expenditures of significant budgeted funds for the division.

Reading

Advanced – Ability to read literature, books, reviews, scientific or technical journals, abstracts, financial reports, and/or legal documents. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in at the college level or above. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study.

Math

Advanced – Ability to apply fundamental concepts of theories, work with advanced mathematical operations methods, and functions of real and complex variables. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in at the college level or above. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study.
